Service Description

Middle School Builders Monthly Membership The Middle School Builders Monthly Membership is designed for students who are ready to move beyond basic crafts and begin developing real woodworking, building, and problem-solving skills in a safe, hands-on environment. Members receive 4 instructor-led woodworking lessons each month, with the flexibility to schedule lessons during any available Middle School Builders session. This gives families the freedom to work woodworking education into their homeschool, school, or extracurricular schedule while maintaining consistent skill development throughout the month. Each 60-minute lesson introduces students to age-appropriate woodworking techniques, tools, materials, and project planning. Students learn how to safely measure, mark, assemble, sand, fasten, and finish wood while completing practical projects they can take home and be proud of. Middle School Builders focuses on much more than simply completing a project. Students strengthen important real-world skills including measurement, mathematics, spatial reasoning, fine motor coordination, critical thinking, creativity, patience, problem-solving, attention to detail, and craftsmanship. As students progress, they will gain greater confidence using woodworking tools and following project plans. Lessons may include learning how to read measurements, identify common materials and hardware, select appropriate tools, understand basic construction methods, and safely complete multi-step projects from beginning to end.
